Sydney Sweeney and NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney recently teamed up to take on the challenge of driving a NASCAR car. While Blaney who won the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series, an expert in the field, remained on hand to offer guidance, Sweeney headed to the racetrack to experience the excitement firsthand. After her time in North Carolina, Sweeney was certain she wanted a NASCAR car in her own garage.

 Sweeney's Rise to Fame and NASCAR Experience

Sydney has become one of the most in-demand actresses in television. She gained widespread recognition for her role in the HBO series Euphoria, which significantly boosted her popularity. Sweeney’s career began with notable roles in shows like Everything Sucks! and The Handmaid's Tale, and she also appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. She has since starred in projects like The White Lotus, Anyone But You, Madame Web, and Immaculate.

To prepare for the role, Sweeney required some on-track experience, and she found the perfect mentor in Ryan Blaney, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion and 2024 runner-up.

 A New Passion for NASCAR

As Sweeney got a taste of NASCAR, she shared her excitement through her TikTok account, @syds_garage, saying, “Kind of maybe thinking I need to add to my garage.”

 

 

Dressed in a racing fire suit, helmet, and black sunglasses, she was ready to take on the challenge with Blaney supporting her. The experience came just a week after Blaney completed his NASCAR Cup Series championship season. Blaney finished the 2023 season as the runner-up behind his teammate Joey Logano. The 12 Team Penske driver secured three wins, a pole position, and 12 Top 5 finishes over the season.

 Gratitude and Passion for Cars

After the thrilling NASCAR experience, Sydney Sweeney took to Instagram to express her gratitude to Ryan Blaney, writing: "This is awesome. Thank you @ryanblaney10 for showing me what I've been missing out on."

 

 

Sweeney also has a deep passion for cars and is known for restoring and refurbishing vintage vehicles. Interestingly, her babysitters were race car drivers, and she frequently visited the track, even dreaming of becoming a race car driver when she was younger.
