Around five years ago in 2019, the star NASCAR driver Chase Elliot shared his disappointment over not being invited to trips to Hawaii and Disney World by fellow drivers Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace.

What did Chase Elliot have to say about not being invited by Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace?

In a fun interview on NBC Sports 'Motormouth' at Daytona Media Day back in 2019, Elliot shared his displeasure of being not invited to the vacations.

"I didn't go to Hawaii; I was not invited to Hawaii. And then they all went to Disney World yesterday, and guess who wasn't invited to Disney World? Yeah, what time did they go to bed last night? I don't know... It's been a bit of a rough go," Elliot said.

It was later added by Elliot that he even invited Blaney, whom he had known since childhood to a concert but the latter didn't follow up. Both Elliot and Blaney grew around racing as both their fathers were NASCAR drivers in the 1990s.

"I tried to invite Ryan to a concert last weekend. And you know, two months ago, 'great idea. Yeah, I'm coming!' And then came time to buy plane tickets, and no such thing. So here we are, left out again on the next trip. So I'm not sure what that's gonna lead to after this, but, uh, I don't know. I mean, I built a bridge; I got over it," Elliot added.

The driver for Hendrick Motorsports, Chase Elliot registered three wins and four poles back in the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series. He managed to qualify in the eighteenth spot for the Daytona 500 and finished in the seventeenth spot. He went on to win at Talladega and Martinsville and later on, got his third win at the Charlotte Roval.

But, an engine failure at Dover and a crash at Phoenix kept him at bay from making it to the Championship 4.

He's always invited, he just never wants to come: Ryan Blaney

The following year Ryan Blaney responded to his childhood friend's comments. While talking to accelerationnation.com, Blaney said that Elliot is welcome anytime to hang out but he usually decides to not come.

"He's [Chase Elliott] always invited, he just never wants to come. And then he likes to go to the media and say that we didn't invite him and didn't tell him. He always denies us, denies wanting to come for some reason. I don't know why," Blaney said.
