Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda reported that there have been no internal discussions about Brock Lesnar returning to WWE. Sources believe that it is unlikely Lesnar will make a return in the near future. Featherstone shared, “I have been informed that there’s been no internal conversations regarding Brock Lesnar coming back to WWE, and the belief is that he will not be returning any time in the foreseeable future.”

The Lawsuit Impact on Lesnar’s Return

Earlier this year, WWE reportedly halted all creative plans for Lesnar after his name surfaced in a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant. In the lawsuit, Grant accused WWE's former CEO Vince McMahon of sexual abuse and trafficking. Grant’s complaint alleges that in July 2021, McMahon instructed her to create explicit content for a WWE talent, described as both a UFC fighter and WWE superstar, to secure his re-signing. The lawsuit claims McMahon shared the content with the wrestler and later facilitated inappropriate contact, which led to harassing requests and insults directed at Grant.

Lesnar’s connection to this case could pose a challenge for his return to WWE, as the company looks to distance itself from McMahon’s legal troubles. Given Lesnar’s strong association with McMahon, a return to the company could attract unwanted attention.

Lesnar’s Current Status and Potential Comeback

At 47 years old and with significant wealth from WWE, UFC, and other ventures, Lesnar may have little motivation to return to WWE programming, especially if it brings public scrutiny. Last month, Lesnar was spotted at a Ward Davis concert in Canada, where the country singer shared a photo with the former WWE Champion. Lesnar appeared to be in fighting shape, which sparked rumors of a possible comeback. However, with no talks of a return to WWE and his involvement in ongoing legal matters, the chances of seeing Lesnar in the ring soon appear slim.

 Looking Ahead

As 2025 approaches, the possibility of returning stars and champions is always a topic of speculation. However, with Lesnar’s current status and the ongoing legal issues involving McMahon, a return to WWE for "The Beast Incarnate" seems unlikely.

As the lawsuit proceeds, with a recent federal stay being lifted, it remains to be seen how this will affect the future of both WWE and Brock Lesnar.
