Ilia Topuria Acknowledges Jake Paul

While Jake Paul receives massive flak for fighting older guys, who are way past their prime, Ilia Topuria on the other hand has given Paul the flowers for being able to leave a footprint in boxing.

Paul started his pro career in 2020 by boxing YouTuber AnEsonGib and NBA star Nate Robinson, beating both of them easily. He then gravitated towards increasing his competition and in the process targeted former champions Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and 47-year-old Anderson Silva.   Meanwhile, he also came across Nate Diaz, when it comes to former MMA fighters. His last in-ring battle was against 58-year-old Mike Tyson,
a fight that generated record turnout. Interestingly, the only time Paul suffered a defeat was when he came up against a fighter of his own age group. Tommy Fury is the only boxer who was able to get the win over Paul. At present, Jake Paul holds the record of 11-1, which according to Topuria is worthy of recognition, and has urged those who disrespect him to try to do what he does.

A boxer with an 11-1 record, Paul still gets a ton of hate to this day with many fans hoping to see him get knocked out.

“A lot of people say ‘he’s a YouTuber’… Do the same thing,” Topuria said of Paul’s critics.

“Do it. Try to do it…

Jake Paul will next take on Julio Chavez Jr. in June 2025.
