WWE legend Triple H unveiled the Crown Jewel Championship belt at Bad Blood 2024. The belt, adorned with 50 carats of diamonds, will be contested at Crown Jewel 2024. The title will remain relevant until WWE's partnership with Saudi Arabia ends in 2028, although its lasting impact depends on its integration into compelling storylines.

WWE’s COO and legend Triple H took the stage during Bad Blood 2024 to make a historic announcement. Hunter introduced the WWE world to the Crown Jewel Championship belt, which is adorned in jewels, leading many to wonder about the real value of the Championship belt.

While announcing it to the world, Hunter mentioned that the belt contains at least 50 carats worth of diamonds. Now, the value of that alone could be well in the millions, but the Crown Jewel title’s value will likely extend beyond material and will be determined by the stories connected to it. The belt will be on the line at Crown Jewel 2024 and will only be given to either Gunther or Cody Rhodes for the men and Nia Jax or Liv Morgan for the women.

Last 4 years to Crown Jewel

The Crown Jewel PLE will air as long as WWE’s 10-year partnership deal with Saudi Arabia is still active. Considering the deal is only active till 2028 it would be safe to assume that wrestlers only have about 4 years to add the Crown Jewel title to their resumes. To those currently active, this could serve as a sign of being the ultimate champion.

However, that might be a long shot to say the least. The Crown Jewel title might not catch on as much as the WWE hopes it would and as a result there is a chance that it could fade into nothingness. So, regardless of how many millions were spent on the belt, it stands at risk of being mediocre and forgotten if Triple H isn’t able to tie it into any good storylines. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of legacy the Crown Jewel title will have in a few years.

More on Crown Jewel
WWE has been hosting non-televised house shows in Saudi Arabia since 2014, and in 2018, the company entered into a 10-year strategic partnership with the Ministry of Sport. This partnership was further expanded in 2019 with the General Authority of Entertainment, leading to WWE organizing two major Premium Live Events (PLEs) in Saudi Arabia, one in Jeddah and another in Riyadh.
