Reminiscing his most memorable in-ring interview, Joe Rogan reveals how the interaction with Derrick Lewis at the memorable UFC 229 has stayed with him even now.

On an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the MMA aficionado reminisced: “Derrick Lewis just beats this dude and takes his pants off. 

He’s standing in the octagon with no pants on, and I’m interviewing him like, "Derrick, congratulations, why did you take your pants off’? He goes, ‘My balls was hot’, I said, ‘I understand.'"

"Derrick is the man. I was ready for it. My job there is just to get out of them the best expression that they can give. I never try and make anything funny.”

Joe Rogan Hails Chael Sonnen as the Best Guy to Interview

Derrick Lewis got the title of rendering the best in-ring interview but when it comes to who is Joe Rogan's all-time favorite interviewee, the famed broadcaster took the name of former fighter Chael Sonnen.

Through the medium of his podcast, Joe Rogan recently revealed who he deems as the "best guy to interview." While he has had a conversation with some of the finest trash-talkers, but among all, it is "The American Gangster" Chael Sonnen, who has received the title of being Rogan's favorite. According to the UFC commentator, Sonnen was the first to figure out how to sell the fight by enacting the pro-wresting style.

“Back in the day, Chael Sonnen was the best guy to interview. He put on a show. He was the first guy to really figure out pro-wrestling-style promotion with legit fight skills."
