Joe Rogan is set to host President Donald Trump on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast on Friday, October 25, just hours away.

In a recent pinned post on X, Rogan announced the event with the message, "Here we go! 🇺🇸 @realDonaldTrump," accompanied by a photo of himself and Trump, indicating "Trump on JRE. Friday Oct 25th." This marks Trump's first appearance on Rogan's podcast, a significant moment just days before the November 5 election.

Trump's podcast

Over the past few months, Trump has been highly visible across various podcasts and shows, even making headlines with gifted Cybertrucks from streamer Adin Ross and engaging in a popular conversation with Elon Musk. However, the upcoming multi-hour dialogue with Rogan is anticipated to be particularly impactful. The interview kicks off in less than 24 hours. As a prominent Republican presidential candidate, Trump is poised for one of the biggest interviews of his campaign with America’s top podcaster, Joe Rogan. With 14.5 million followers on Spotify and 17.5 million subscribers on YouTube, "The Joe Rogan Experience" has cultivated a massive audience, predominantly male, since its inception 15 years ago.

Confirming reports about the interview, Trump referred to Rogan as "a nice guy" and expressed his expectations for a "very interesting" conversation. "I do a lot of shows,” he shared with Fox News Radio on Wednesday. “Good, bad or indifferent. I do a lot of shows and they come out good."

Trump's campaigning approach

This statement hints at the Trump campaign’s strategic media approach, which has emphasized podcasts favored by younger men over traditional outlets like "60 Minutes." Many longtime listeners believe this interview could be a major moment for Trump. "Rogan is about to have the most listened-to podcast in human history," said Matthew Foldi, a conservative journalist and JRE enthusiast who has dedicated extensive time to listening to the entire catalog in chronological order and at 3.5x speed since 2020.

While Trump is in Austin for the podcast, Vice President Kamala Harris will also be in Texas, hosting a rally in Houston that features global pop star Beyoncé. Trump's appearance on Rogan's show is scheduled for Friday, October 25, although no specific air time has been announced.

Listeners can find "The Joe Rogan Experience" on Spotify, with episodes also available on YouTube. Rogan records his podcast in Austin, Texas.

Kamala Harris backed out

Vice President Kamala Harris will not appear on Joe Rogan's popular podcast, as her campaign spokesperson confirmed on Thursday. Harris's team had discussed a potential appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience," but scheduling conflicts arose, according to spokesperson Ian Sams during an interview on MSNBC.
