Jon Jones Enters the Ownership Pool

Jon Jones remains at the centre stage of the limelight and while fans all over the world are patiently waiting for the announcement of his next big gig inside the Octagon, Bones is onto something else. Having achieved everything that was on offer as an MMA fighter, the unanimous GOAT of the sport has decided to become a promoter.

Jones has invested in Mike Perry's Dirty Boxing Championship and has expanded his horizon as an MMA professional.  Now, following in Conor McGregor‘s footsteps, as the Irish star became the co-owner of BKFC, ‘Bones’ is scheduled to be in attendance for their first official event this coming weekend DBX1.

“I was hooked from the first show. I believe this is going to be a powerhouse of combat sports. I’m proud to sign my name next to it,” Jones said regarding Dirty Boxing Championship (h/t TMZ).

It will be intriguing to witness Jones as a promoter. Will he be able to match the heights of UFC boss Dana White? All to look forward to.

As for the fit against Tom Aspinall, a concrete development on the contest is still awaited. The interim champion, Aspinall, is ready to take on Jones anytime and anywhere, something which he has conveyed more times than one, but the ball is in Jones' corner. Being the prized fighter and the champion of course, he will decide when the fight will take place, if it takes place at all. As per the recent update by Ariel Helwani, Jon Jones has demanded six months of preparation time.
