A recent report indicates that WWE's international Premium Live Events (PLEs) will continue, with the Elimination Chamber set for England in March 2025. Initially reported by WrestleVotes and confirmed by Bryan Alvarez, the event may occur in either Birmingham or Manchester. This will be the fourth consecutive international edition of Elimination Chamber, as WWE aims to incorporate the UK into its annual calendar leading up to WrestleMania in Las Vegas.
Likely venues
The AO Arena in Manchester or the Utilita Arena in Birmingham can be the venues for the event. Talking about WWE's hosting in the UK it has only hosted three major events since 2003. In 2022 The Clash of Castle had Cardiff, Wales as the venue. In the event Drew Mcintyre faced Roman Reigns. Then in 2023 Money in the Bank was hosted in London's O2 Arena featuring Ronda Rousey's final matches with the company. In 2024 summer the Glasgow's OVO Hydro event was where the second clash took place featuring Drew Mcintyre against Damian Priest. The match took a interesting end as the hometown boy Mcintyre was defeated by Priest with help of CM punk.
WWE Superstars like John Cena are continuing to push the company to host Wrestlemania, they are now finally going in that direction by bringing a major pre-WrestleMania event to the country in 2025.
In a conversation about the announcement, Joey Votes mentioned on WrestleVotes Radio "We can confirm that the Elimination Chamber PLE is headed to the United Kingdom in March of 2025 on the road to Wrestlemania in Las Vegas."
If the news is confirmed It will be the fourth consecutive International Elimination Chamber event and fourth overall out of 15 editions of the match. The first International Chamber was held in Saudi Arabia in February 2022, then in Montreal, Canada in 2023. This year the event was held in Perth, Australia.
