WWE has officially unveiled plans for its inaugural two-night SummerSlam event, set to take place on August 2 and 3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This exciting announcement follows earlier news that the 2026 edition of SummerSlam will also adopt the two-night format, to be hosted at US Bank Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In a unique twist, the iconic Cardi B has been enlisted to help promote this milestone event. Known for her long-standing passion for wrestling, Cardi stars in an advertisement alongside WWE superstar Bianca Belair, with her hit track “Enough” serving as the soundtrack. In a playful exchange, Cardi calls Bianca to deliver the exciting news, declaring, “I got two words for you: SummerSlam,” to which Bianca humorously responds, “I’m pretty sure that’s one word.” Cardi quickly clarifies her trend: “Two nights.”

In her Instagram post, Cardi wrote, “Here’s to the Streets.. and to my girl @BiancaBelairWWE! SummerSlam. 2Nights. MetLife Stadium. August 2nd and 3rd,” generating buzz among fans about her potential involvement in the event.

Adding to the excitement, former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have expressed interest in seeing a tag match featuring Cardi B and fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion. They stated, “I would love to see Cardi and Meg The Stallion. I think Meg would be incredible… Those two would be interesting to see in the ring. Us versus Cardi and Meg. Make it happen.”

With the anticipation building, wrestling fans are eager to see what surprises await at this historic two-night SummerSlam in 2025.
