At the WWE Bash in Berlin, several notable victories were won by top Babyface wrestlers. In an exciting main event, Gunther successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship while Randy Orton attempted to win a 15th World Championship. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair won the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions once again and added to the evening's excitement. Now the next PPV in line is Bad Blood 2024. It will be the fourth edition of this Premium Live Event. Interestingly, October 5th is also the 27th anniversary of the first-ever Badd Blood: In Your Home event, which occurred in 1997 and highlighted Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker's iconic first Hell in a Cell bout.
The upcoming Bad Blood premium live event, the first in twenty years, promises to be another exciting event. Hell in a Cell fights have forever been a crucial part of the Bad Blood PPVs, and this pattern is most likely going to proceed. In 2024, Triple H has scheduled five matches for the majority of the PLEs. He is known for doing this. This suggests that a portion of the anticipated clashes probably won't occur. Fans may anticipate some exciting developments leading up to the event due to ongoing feuds and championships at stake, even though no fights have been officially announced as of yet.
3 crucial things the PPV must get right
- Hell in a Cell match
Over the years, the Bad Blood event has featured some of the biggest and most iconic Hell in a Cell matches. Expectedly, this tradition might go on in the upcoming PPV. However, there is no official confirmation on the match but there are some potential candidates for this spot. The top one being the trilogy match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Both of them have been involved in a long and one of the most exciting rivalries. Where Drew won their first match in which Seth Rollins was the special guest referee, Punk won the Strap Match at Bash in Berlin making it 1-1.
However, McIntyre did not sit well with that loss and brutally assaulted Punk on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, making it clear that the ‘Bad Blood' between them is far from over. A clash inside the Hell in a Cell would be the perfect rubber match between the two superstars. Other matches that can take place with this stipulation are Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan for the Women's World Heavyweight Championship. Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens for the undisputed WWE Championship.
2. Tiffany Stratton cash in her MITB briefcase
Bayley made her much-awaited return during the Street Fight match between Nia Jax and Michin. This would lead to a potential rematch at Bad Blood and this could also be a perfect opportunity for Tiffany Stratton to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase and get the Women's championship. She could turn on Nia or cash in on Bayley if she manages to regain her title from the Queen of the Ring. The PLE can be a perfect opportunity to finally crown Tiffany as the champion. She is over with the fans and a title run here could establish her as the future superstar.
3. Solo vs Roman Reigns
Solo and the Bloodline took out Roman Reigns and did not allow him to reclaim his Ula Fala which is the symbol of him being the tribal chief. Roman can make his potential return in a couple of weeks and then WWE can set up his first-ever match since WrestleMania at Bad Blood. The clash can be for the position of the Tribal Chief. The hype around this match would be surreal and it can make the event a top hit and even add more drama and spice to the Bloodline story.
