Djokovic is the only player from The Big Three who is still active in tennis, while the other two, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, have announced their retirements in 2022 and 2024, respectively. While the Serbian professional has admitted on several occasions that age is one of the factors which has been affecting his lack of speed, the 24-time major champion is determined to bag more Grand Slams in future.

Djokovic, who is currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia had a message for the young tennis players that he is not retiring anytime soon. The 38-year-old, during a talk with host Max Kellerman stated that he wants to see how far he can go.

Giving the examples of some great sporting icons in longevity, Djokovic said players like Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James and Tom Brady have been a huge inspiration and reason behind continuing to play. He, during a chat with Kellerman, said:

"One of my biggest motivations is I want to really see how far I can go. If you look across all global sports, LeBron James is still going strong. He is 40.”

Speaking of Ronaldo, Djokovic continued:

“Cristiano Ronaldo. Tom Brady played till he was 40-something years old. It's unbelievable, they're inspiring me as well. I want to keep going, that is one of the motivations I have. I also want to live to see the change coming in our sport."

The former World No. 1 is all set to face tennis sensation Jannik Sinner in the ongoing Six Kings Slam.
