After playing some incredible tennis across two weeks in the Australian Open 2025 and reaching the touching distance of conquering the 25th Grand Slam title, Novak Djokovic's campaign ended on an unfortunate note. Novak Djokovic Ends Injury Speculations with a Social Media Post

Witnessing Novak Djokovic receiving jeers as he walked out of the Rod Laver arena, some polarising reactions from fans and experts emerged. While the majority of the fans of the sport came out to support the legend, there were a few detractors who doubted Djokovic's injury. Shutting down all the claims, Djokovic has posted a picture of a scan that he underwent afterwards, and it showcases damage.

Djokovic also wrote a caption alongside the picture, which is directed at those who were not convinced by his injury update.

"Thought I'd leave this here for all the sports injury 'experts' out there".

Wait for the 25th Grand Slam title Continues

As the injury forced him out of the AO 2025, the wait for the 25th major has been prolonged. Djokovic hasn't won a Grand Slam since the US Open of 2023, and with the injury inflicted, it is unclear when he will return to the court. However, considering he has managed to stay at the top level even at the age of 36 and has the legs for the long rallies against younger players, it could be gauged that nursing the injury and rest could let him harness his strength again and would be back better than ever. Thus, while the waiting time has been increased, he will eventually bag that elusive 25th title.
