WWE star Drew McIntyre recently discussed the worst moment of his career in Stamford-based promotion. The Scottish Warrior tried to redeem himself during a live event in Glasgow, Scotland.

On the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Drew McIntyre faced Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match for the undisputed WWE Championship . The Scottish finally defeated The American Nightmare, thanks to Jacob Fatu.

Following winning the title, McIntyre recently put the championship at stake against Shinsuke Nakamura at a live event in Glasgow, Scotland, during the Road to Royal Rumble 2026. After successfully defending the championship, The Scottish Warrior cut an out-of-character promo. Drew discussed his defeat against Roman Reigns at Clash at Castle 2022, which he believed sent him on a downward spiral, but he recovered from it after defeating Rhodes.

McIntyre added that he believed the "worst moment" of his career happened at Clash at the Castle when he sang alongside Tyson Fury. He also noted that he wanted to redeem himself in front of the Scotland crowd. Drew proceeded to sing with the audience before telling them that he loved them.

"But there was a moment that night. It was the worst moment of my career when I had to sing a stupid song with Tyson Fury. So I want to make it up right now. I know I have a great voice, as you saw, so I'm gonna need some help. I want to show the world what Scotland is capable of... So, let's send a message to the lads [the Scottish football team] out there. We'll just do the chorus. You know the words, so help me out. [Proceeds to sing]... Cheers Glasgow. Goodnight. I love you all," he added.

 

 

Drew McIntyre sent a message after defeating Cody Rhodes on WWE SmackDown

After defeating Cody Rhodes as the Undisputed WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre took to X (FKA Twitter) to share a photo of himself with the title. In the post's caption, he sent a five-word message.

"No longer bored at work," he wrote.

 

 

It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for Drew McIntyre's Undisputed WWE Championship reign.
