A few years ago, if someone had said that one day the names of John Cena and Logan Paul would be put together in one sentence that too because of an episode that took place at WrestleMania, then majority of the ardent WWE fans might have taken it as a joke. As it happened, the satire has become a reality as not only the 17-time World Champion and the Maverick are colleagues in WWE but also get along and share banter.

John Cena Savagely Roasts Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41

John Cena and Logan Paul shared the ring at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, where Cena famously eliminated Paul. Subsequently, the two have bumped into each other at WrestleMania 41. During the "Impaulsive" podcast, the WWE Superstar who happened to beat AJ Styles at the show of shows, detailed what John Cena told him backstage at the grandest stage of them all.

A heel John Cena was mean to Paul, as he told him that he looked older than 30, which is his actual age.

“You know what John Cena said to me after my match—well, earlier in the day, because I just turned 30? He said, ‘You look older,'” said Paul.

He continued: “And I said, ‘Wow, you really are a heel.’”

Later in the night, when John Cena emerged victorious over Cody Rhodes and made history by claiming the world title for the 17th time, he once again saw caught the sight of Paul, and did not refrain from hurling a lesson at him.

After Cena won the WWE Championship and became the 17-time World Champion, Paul claims Cena told him: “Now that’s how a bad guy works.”

Cena Had Some Good Words to Say About Paul

While Cena was in roast mode, he made sure not to bury the developing talent this time. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show on April 21, Cena said: “Logan Paul, he’s a stud. I texted him right away after his match, ‘Dude, you are innovative.’

“From his entrance to holding a drone to thinking on another level, ‘I’m going to swing big and try something different.’

“I thought that was dope. His performance, he’s doing stuff that I couldn’t do at peak physical condition.”

Although no storyline between John Cena and Logan Paul has been teased till now, still there is every chance that the two will square inside the squared circle during the farewell tour of John Cena.
