Suspense On a Title Fight Ahead of WrestleMania
WrestleMania is undisputedly the biggest WWE event, and much like every edition this edition also guarantees the conclusion of some intriguing storylines, John Cena vs Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship being the biggest one. Since the stature of the show is unmatched, the fans expect to witness every title being put on the line at the grandest stage. Notwithstanding that, there is still suspense on the tag-team title fight between the champions Street Profits and Motor City Machine Guns.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that a final decision has not yet been made regarding whether the tag team title match will take place at WrestleMania or during a broadcast of SmackDown. It was noted, "We also didn't get a listing for Street Profits vs. Motor City Machine Guns, which was seemingly made when the Machine Guns beat DIY on the 4/4 SmackDown show with the winner getting a shot at the tag titles. I assume it was on Mania and was just told a decision on when the match takes place, whether TV the night before on SmackDown, or either night, will be made imminently."
The updated card includes the following matches: Night 1 features Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk; Night 2 features Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena.
Soon to be confirmed for either night include WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER vs. Jey Uso, WWE Women's World Champion IYO SKY vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley, WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair, WWE United States Champion LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu, AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul, Naomi vs. Jade Cargill, WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez vs. TBD, WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker vs. Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Balor in a Fatal Four Way Match, Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano, and Drew Mcintyre vs. Damian Priest.
