Jaker goes big

Bangladesh started the Day 4 at 193/5. Taijul fell to Alzarri Joseph for a 50-ball 14. In the next over, Kemar Roach dismissed Mominul Haque for a four-ball duck. Jaker Ali marched on and reached his fifty with a six. He followed it up with a four and another six against Joseph. In the next over, he hit Roach for a maximum as well. But Roach managed to get rid of Hasan Mahmud. Taskin Ahmed couldn't do much either and was knocked over for a six-ball duck.

Jaker continued to ht big but missed his century. He got caught in the deep off Joseph's bowling. Jaker's gutsy knock of 91 from 106 balls helped Bangladesh post 268 on the board and set a target of 287. He smashed as many as eight fours and five sixes.

Brathwaite, Hodge keep the run chase alive

West Indies openers looked to put pressure early and dealt in boundaries. But Taijul was introduced in the fifth over and dismissed Mikyle Louis. At the end of first session, West Indies were 23/1. Keacy Carty's patience ran out and he was deceived by Taskin. He scored 14 runs from 43 balls. Skipper Kraigg Brathwaite led from the front and looked to score quickly. The partnership was broken by Taijul. The captain departed for a 63-ball 43 edging one to slip fielder. In his next over, the left-arm spinner knocked over Alick Athanaze. Kavem Hodge did not hold back and looked for boundaries. At the end of second session, West Indies were 133/4 and the game was delicately poised between the two teams.
