India's veteran batting duo Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently preparing for their international comeback in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, which is scheduled to start from October 19. Notably, Rohit and Virat will be seen donning the India jersey after 224 days; their last international outing came in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final on March 9, where India defeated New Zealand to win the title at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
Ahead of the upcoming ODI series against Australia, the BCCI shared a clip where the batting duo can be seen smashing bowlers in their nets sessions at the Optus Stadium. Here is the video.
Rohit and Virat's net session on the first day in Australia
Batting duo Rohit and Virat batted side-by-side for nearly 30 minutes each in the nets, where they faced pacers Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh and many other local bowlers. While Kohli looked to be fluent for most of the session, Rohit made a sluggish start but picked up his game as the session progressed.
