Afghanistan star Karim Janat make debut for Gujarat Titans.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to bowl against Gujarat Titans for the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, taking place at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. RR captain Sanju Samson is missing the clash against GT, as Sports Tak earlier mentioned that he is not fit to feature in a match.

Rajasthan Royal are languishing at the second last position in the points table and need to win all their remaining five matches to stay in reckoning for the play-offs.

The second-placed Gujarat Titans will look to cement their position further by reaching 14 points with a win.

RR made two changes, bringing in Maheesh Theekshana and Yudhvir Singh to replace Fazalhaq Farooqi and Tushar Deshpande, while GT handed a debut to Afghanistan star Karim Janat.

Captains at toss

Shubman Gill: Would've bowled first as well. But it looks like a good wicket. Some grass on the wicket, always nice to see that. We are looking to take each game as it is, not looking at the past. Important to be ruthless in this format.

Riyan Parag: We'll bowl first. Pretty similar wicket to the one we played against LSG. Should be a good wicket, some low bounce, saw some dew last night so bowling first. Everyone in our team has gone through situations like this and they know how to get out of it. We've had honest talks. Just have to put a game together collectively and hope for a good result. We've played 35 overs of good cricket in the last three games. That's how cruel the IPL is. Two changes: Farooqi goes out, Theekshana comes in. Tushar goes out.
