Punjab Kings (PBKS) finished their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 campaign on a disappointing note, as they missed the playoff spot by margin of just one point. Despite having a sensational first half of the season, the Shreyas Iyer-led side failed to maintain their consistency in the later stages of the tournament.

Big step from Arshdeep Singh

In a series of interesting series, PBKS star pacer Arshdeep Singh has deleted a total of 200 posts from his social media handle. Now, his profile only has 44 visible posts on his official Instagram account. Though deleting or archiving posts is a very common practice for public figures, the timing of Arshdeep's case seems a little curious.

In the 2026 edition of IPL, Arshdeep Singh has faced heat for his activities on social media, particularly making racist comments on Tilak Varma. Now, it looks like the step was taken to avoid upcoming hate from fans. As of now, there is no official statement from Ashdeep or his team regarding the recent activity on his account.

Arshdeep Singh's hot and cold form in IPL 2026

The star left-arm pace has endured a challenging season while playing for PBKS, as he lacked consistency and struggled with his line and length. The star India speedster picked only 14 wickets in 14 games at an economy rate of 10.20 and a bowling average of 38.64.  

Although, despite having an underwhelming season, Arshdeep still managed to finish as PBKS' top wicket taker.
