369 players will go under the hammer in IPL 2026 mini auction.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has added 19 players to the auction list for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. This brings the total number of players in the auction to 369. When the list was first released by the IPL on December 9, it contained 350 names. Along with the additions, the BCCI also corrected the entries of two players: Miles Hammond’s country has been changed from India to England, and Nikhil Chaudhary is now listed as an Australian player.

Two-time champions KKR will have the most work at hand with 13 slots to fill following the IPL 2026 retentions. All teams have a combined remaining purse of ₹237.55 crore to spend at the 2026 IPL auction, with KKR alone having a warchest of ₹64.3 crore.

New Names added in IPL auction list

Some of the notable names added to the IPL 2026 auction include Abhimanyu Easwaran, MB Murasingh, Swastik Chikara, Virat Singh, as well as overseas players like South Africa’s Kyle Verreynne, New Zealand’s Ben Sears, and Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani. Reports suggest that Easwaran was added following a franchise’s request after his recent century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
