Additionally, Patel has now become the fastest half-centurion in the history of the Chennai Super Kings franchise. He surpassed the long-standing club record previously held by Suresh Raina, who had reached a fifty in 16 balls against the Punjab Kings during the 2014 season at Wankhede Stadium.
