Punjab Kings' (PBKS) players wore black armbands during their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the New PCA Stadium on Saturday. This was done to show respect for the people affected by a tragic boat accident in Vrindavan.

At least 10 people lost their lives in the incident. Around 18 others were rescued, though some of them were injured. Search teams are still looking for those who are missing. People who saw the accident said that strong winds made the boat unstable and faster, which may have led to it crashing into the bridge.
