Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bowl first against Gujarat Titans at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 21, Monday. KKR to feature with two changes as Moeen Ali and Rahmanullah Gurbaz come in the playing  XI against the Shubman Gill-led side.

Captains at toss

KKR Captain Rahane at toss

We are going to bowl first. Pitch is on the drier side, we'll get an idea when we bowl. All the players are working hard. It's all about being positive. Not too worried about the middle-order. Gurbaz comes in and Moeen Ali comes in as well.

Shubman Gill GT captain as toss

I don't think there'll be any dew. Everyone has been contributing with wickets. (On Rashid Khan) The skill-set that he brings and the energy on the field, any captain would love to have him.

Gujarat is on top in points table tally

GT, led by Shubman Gill, is in great form. Gujarat won four consecutive matches and then lost one, but by defeating Delhi Capitals in the last match, Gujarat tasted victory again. GT are currently on top of the points table by winning five matches out of seven. Whereas the defending champion KKR team has won only three matches out of seven. In such a situation, if KKR has to save the title, then they will have to return to the winning track. They had lost to Punjab in the last match.

Gujarat has the upper hand

GT and KKR played four matches against each other in IPL history, where GT won two matches and KKR has been able to overcome them only once. Apart from this, one match was also inconclusive. If seen from this point of view, the current form is also with Gujarat, so they seem to have the upper hand.
