On Thursday, April 8, Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul celebrated the team's victory over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a special way. Rahul drew a circle on the ground and stomped his bat firmly in the middle of it after hitting the game-winning six. The batter revealed that one of his favorite films, Kantara, served as the basis for the post-game celebration. Rahul said he wanted to convey to the crowd that the Chinnaswamy Stadium was his home, where he was raised, and that no one knew how to play there better than him.
Rahul on his celebration
"This is a special place for me. That celebration was from one of my favourite movies, Kantara. So, ya, just a tiny reminder that this ground, this turf, this home is where I have grown up and that this is mine," KL Rahul said after the match.

Rahul was full of confidence in the post-match interview following his 93-run knock, which was among his finest in the Indian Premier League. Rahul stated he intended to be aggressive when he contacted Chinnaswamy's house.
"This is my ground, this is my home. I know this better than anybody else. I knew what my shots are. Just wanted to get off to a good start, be aggressive initially and assess it from there. If I was trying to hit a big six, I knew what pockets to target," KL Rahul said at the post-match interview.

Rahul has now won two of three IPL games with his innings. Due to the birth of his child, he had missed the season's opening game. Rahul has changed things this season in the IPL. Rahul, who was previously criticized for his incapacity to make big shots, has ensured that this season he plays in accordance with the team's needs. Unlike the previous several seasons, Rahul has batted in the middle order, and it appears to be helping him.
