Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi has the desire to feature for India in all the formats in the future. The 20-year-old batter came into the spotlight after starring for India in the 2022 U-19 World Cup, where he was the highest scorer with 278 runs in six innings.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi made his IPL debut in 2024
Following this, he was picked by the Kolkata-based franchise ahead of the IPL 2024 season and his services were acquired by the side once again for a fee of INR 30 lakhs at the 2025 IPL mega auction.
"I want to play all formats of the game, including Test cricket. People bowl faster here in the IPL, turn the ball more. It's just tougher all around here, so I had to practice harder to make my game better," Raghuvanshi said as quoted by Wisden.com.
The Mumbai batter had a decent debut campaign in IPL, scoring 163 runs in 10 matches, however it was his second campaign with KKR where he turned many heads with his batting performances. In IPL 2025, Raghuvanshi scored a total of 300 runs in 12 matches, striking the ball at a rate of 139.53 and maintaining an average of 33.33.
Raghuvanshi also stated the importance of playing cricket regularly in order to gain experience and adapt to every format. He also stressed on the need of practicing.
"It's more about playing as much cricket as you can, and gaining experience. You understand yourself better, and you understand how you can adapt across formats. It's simple: Play as many matches, but more than that, I practice as much as I can," Raghuvanshi added.

Raghuvanshi revealed that he takes inspiration from India T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav when it comes to playing against the spinners, adding that he developed his game against spin on the pitches of Mumbai.
"Playing on the pitches in Mumbai has helped me develop my game against spin, because the ball turns a lot on some pitches in Mumbai. I like to learn from Suryakumar Yadav on how to play spin. I try to watch him bat and what he tries to do against spinners. He plays the field and the bowlers, and I like watching and learning from that," Raghuvanshi stated.
KKR had quite a disappointing IPL 2025 campaign as the reigning champions got knocked out of the tournament before even making it to the playoffs. The Kolkata-based franbchise managed to emerge victorious on only five occasions throughout the tournament and ended up recording seven defeats.
They finished the season on the eighth position, accumulating just 12 points from 14 matches. However, Raghuvanshi was among the players who stood out and finished as the side's second-highest scorer only behind skipper Ajinkya Rahane.
