Nicholas Pooran will now be seen in action during LSG vs DC clash of IPL 2025.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) flamboyant batter Nicholas Pooran met a fan who got his by his six during their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Gujarat Titans (GT) on April 12. Pooran gifted a signed cap to the injured fan ahead of their upcoming clash against Delhi Capitals (DC) which is scheduled to take place on April 22 at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

LSG fan Nabeen received the cap signed by Pooran, who indirectly apologised and offered his consolation during a chat ahead of the Lucknow-Delhi clash at the Ekana Stadium. The fan gleefully accepted the cap after Pooran’s kind gesture. The star batter also asked for Nabeel’s health as the fan was seen wearing a bandage on his head from the blow he received on the same ground.

The fan was taken to the hospital, but he was returned to the ground while the Lucknow-based franchise trained for their upcoming clash against Delhi. LSG took to their social media to share the clip where the fan revealed that Pooran had been in contact with him and had requested him to arrive before their game against the Capitals. While hurt by the blow, the jubilant fan said he was not too discouraged by the accident as his favourite LSG won the clash versus the Titans and hoped the side would continue winning. Here is the clip.

“Badiya.. Pooran sir ne call karwayi thi mai aya. Mai mila, sir mile mulaqat hui. Poocha khairiyat, sab theek? (I’m fine. Pooran sir had made the call. He came and met, and asked about my health)," said the fan.

The incident happened during LSG's last outing against GT when Pooran started smashing bowlers to all over the ground in his tremendous knock of 61 off 34 balls, one of his sixes flew well into the stands and unfortunately ended up hitting Nabeel’s head.

LSG are currently on fifth in the points table tally, the franchise has played eight matches in IPL 2025 where they managed to win five and lost three.
