Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is playing against Delhi Capitals (DC) in their ongoing IPL 2026 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Notably, the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side produced a marvelous bowling effort to restrict Delhi at 155/7.

However, the score could have been a little less as CSK's Noor Ahmad dropped Tristan Stubbs' crucial catch in the first innings. Stubbs was just came out to bat when Ahmed dropped his catch on Gurjapneet's bowling.

DC skipper Axar Patel elected to bat first after winning the toss. However the decision seemed to backfire as DC lost Pathum Nissanka early to Mukesh Choudhary for just 19, before Akeal Hosein trapped KL Rahul for 12.

Noor Ahmed clinched two crucial wickets of Karun Nair (13 runs) and Nitish Rana (15). Gurjapneet also delivered a beautiful spell of 1/29 in four overs removing Axar Patel for just 2 runs. However, after the catch drop, Stubbs stitched a stable partnership with Sameer Rizvi.

Stubbs smashed 38 runs before being dismissed by Jamie Overton, while former CSK player Rizvi remained unbeaten on 40-runs to guide DC reach a total of 155/7 in 20 overs.
