When will cricket be played at the Asian Games?
The cricket competition at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan will start on September 17 and run until October 3. The women's tournament is set to take place from September 17 to September 22. On the other hand, the men's competition will be held from September 24 to October 3.
A total of 10 teams will take part in the men's competition, including Pakistan, raising the stakes of the tournament. As the host nation, Japan will also take part in the event. On the other hand, the women's competition will feature only eight teams, all the games will be played in the T20 format.
