India have announced their squad for the upcoming Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024. ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2007-winning member Robin Uthappa will lead the side. The Indian squad includes two uncapped Indian players – Bharat Chipli and Shreevats Goswami – who have played in the Indian Premier League (IPL). On the other hand, left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem never played T20I cricket for India but represented them in the Test format.

India are missing a specialist fast bowler in the team. However, Stuart Binny is capable of bowling medium pace. But India have a few good options in spin-bowling. As per the rules of the game, barring the wicketkeeper, each member of the side bowls at least one over in the five-over game. Each over consists of eight deliveries.
