India A have reached the final of the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars after a convincing win over Sri Lanka in the first semi-final on Friday. The Sri Lankan team, led by Anushka Sanjeewani, set a target of 119 runs. India chased it down in 13.3 overs, losing five wickets along the way. In the final, India will face the winner of the second semi-final between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Captain Radha Yadav was the star of the match, shining with both ball and bat. She first took four wickets for just 19 runs and later scored an unbeaten 31 off 18 balls to guide India to victory.

Sri Lanka is unable to bat 20 overs
Batting first, Sri Lanka struggled against India’s bowlers and were bowled out for 118 in 19.4 overs, falling short of completing their 20 overs. Opener Sanjana Kavindi top-scored with 31 runs, while Shashini Gimhani contributed 22 off 17 balls. For India, Radha Yadav led the bowling attack with 4/19 in 3.4 overs. Tanuja Kanwar took 2/20, Prema Rawat also picked up 2 wickets, and Saima and Minnu Mani claimed one wicket each.

During the chase, India lost Nandini Kashyap early for 13 runs in the 4.2 over. Dinesh Vrinda played a quick innings of 42 runs off 20 balls, and Anushka Sharma added 27 off 18 balls. Tejal managed just 3 runs before getting out. Radha Yadav then anchored the innings, staying unbeaten on 31 off 18 balls to see India through. Minnu Mani scored 2 runs before getting out.
