Remarkably, he surpassed icons like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni in search rankings, reflecting his status as a genuine breakthrough star in world cricket.
Following his match-winning display against the UAE, the youngster was named Player of the Match and was asked about his status as the country’s most searched sportsperson. In an honest response, Suryavanshi emphasised that his primary focus remains on playing quality cricket for his team. While maintaining this professional outlook, he did admit that such widespread recognition brings him a great deal of happiness and joy.
"I don't pay attention to these things. I keep the focus on my game. Yes, I do hear about these developments, and it does feel nice. I look at it, feel good about it and then move forward. That's about it," Suryavanshi said after the match.
