Virat Kohli's Under-19 World Cup teammate Siddarth Kaul who announced his retirement from cricket in India has joined State Bank of India in Chandigarh's Sector 17 branch. He has the part of SBI since 2017 before his India debut. However, now that his cricket career isn't as active as before, Kaul has more time to give to his office.
Kaul made his India debut in 2018 and featured in three ODIs and three T20Is taking a combined four wickets in them. The 34-year-old played 88 first-class matches for Punjab and picked up 297 wickets at an average of 26.77 with 17 five-wicket hauls. Siddharth took his Instagram to announce his retirement.
"When I was a child playing cricket in the fields in Punjab, I had one dream. A dream to represent my country. In 2018, by Gods grace, I received my India Cap Number 75 in the T20i team and Cap Number 221 in the ODI team. The time has now come to call time on my career in India and announce my retirement" wrote Kaul. "Words cannot express my gratitude for the love and support I have received through all the highs and lows of my career. I want to thank God for the path that has been made for me; the fans for the endless support; my parents and family for the sacrifices and confidence you have given me, especially during the injuries and lows; my teammates over the years for the dressing room memories and friendships; the BCCI for fulfilling a young child’s dream to represent India and win the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and receive my T20i and ODI caps in 2018!" posted Kaul.

Without all your support I would not be the person I am today. I don’t know what the future holds but I look back on this chapter with only fond memories and now on to the next chapter" he concluded.
The speedster played 55 IPL matches and picked up 58 wickets at an economy of 8.63. He joined Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2016 season of the Indian Premier League and came out as an important player for the franchise next season. Kaul made his India debut in T20I clash against Ireland on 29 June 2018 and the pacer played his first ODI clash on 12 July 2018.
After featuring for SRH, he also played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Before the 2024 edition of the IPL, he was released by the RCB and was unsold at the auction.
