In a series of big events, Kuldeep Yadav managed to drop a brilliant performance for Yorkshire in the ongoing One-Day Cup, recording a brilliant spell against Durham at Clifton Park Ground in York on Friday. The star Indian spinner dismissed former England Test skipper Ben Stokes during a disciplined spell, finishing the game with the figures of 2/23 in 10 overs. Kuldeep's restricted spell played a big role in dismissing the entire Durham side at just 165runs in 48.1 overs.
Kuldeep Yadav gets the big fish
Durham skipper, Stokes endured a challenging outing with the bat as Kuldeep kept him under constant pressure. Leading Durham, Stokes crawled to 12 runs off 39 balls before attempting a risky reverse sweep. The risky shot ended up in a simple catch for George Hill at backward point, giving Kuldeep one of the biggest wickets of the innings.

After dismissing Stokes, Kuldeep's second scalp came in the form of Colin Ackermann, who found his rhythm after amassing 26 runs. The strike from Kuldeep halted Durham's attempt to rebuild and further strengthened Yorkshire's grip in the clash.
The left-arm spinner has managed to kick off his journey in the One-Day Cup in England on a positive note. Signed by Yorkshire for a five-game stint, the wrist spinner has managed to cement himself as a disciplined bowler.
Kuldeep's attempt to make space in India's white-ball setup
Despite giving his best in every game, Kuldeep has found himself at the bench for most of the occasion in the Indian team, which led him to sign for Yorkshire. The Lucknow Super Giants spinner signed for One-Day Cup in England to maintain his match fitness and rhythm ahead of the international season.
India will tour to Sri Lanka for a two-game Test series, it will be interesting to see if Kuldeep gets a chance to prove his worth over there.
