India National Cricket Team pacer Jasprit Bumrah picked five players from cricket to form a five-a-side football team. The premier pacer went on to pick three players from Team India including himself along with two players from England National Cricket Team.

 

The first name that Jasprit Bumrah picked was of the former India National Cricket Team skipper MS Dhoni. After that, he went on to name Virat Kohli as well along with himself. The duo of Kohli and Dhoni are decent football players as it has been witnessed during the warmup games.

 

Indian players also played some of the charity football games and in those games, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were the standout performers. They also are rated among the greats of Indian cricket with the kind of performances they have put in for the team.

 

Jasprit Bumrah has selected Jos Buttler and Stuart Broad as the final two members of his five-a-side football team featuring cricketers. Both English players are known for their impressive football skills, frequently showcasing their talents during warm-ups and practice sessions.

Jasprit Bumrah is currently on a break from cricket. He last played for India was during the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 against South Africa on June 29 where Men in Blue defeated the Proteas to win the title.  He was the major reason behind the team winning the tournament as he came up with a magical effort throughout the World Cup.

 

Bumrah won the Player of the Tournament for his 15 wickets at an average of 8.26 and helped his team end the title drought and win the first-ever ICC title after 2013. Since then he has been rested as the team management decided to manage his workload.
 

Bumrah will now feature in the upcoming Test match against Bangladesh which is scheduled to start from September 19 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
