Former India captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma visited Ayodhya's Ram Mandir and did darshan puja at Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanumangadhi, met National President of Sankat Mochan Sena Sanjay Dutt, successor of Mahant Gyan Das of Hanumangadhi, and senior priest of Hanumangadhi Hemant Das. This is the second time that Virat was spotted at a spiritual place after announcing Test retirement. 

A few days back, the couple was spotted in Vrindavan to seek blessings from Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj. Both Kohli and Anushka are regular attendees at his satsangs and are often seen there with their kids, Vamika and Akaay. 


Kohli is currently featuring in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where his franchise, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has already qualified for the playoffs. Kohli, along with RCB, is currently in Lucknow for the team's last league match. The Bengaluru-based franchise will face Lucknow Super Giants for their last league match on May 27, which is scheduled to take place at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

RCB are currently at third in the points table with 17 points, The franchise has played 13 matches so far they winning eight and lost four and one match ended without a result due to rain at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. 

Kohli's last IPL outing came during the RCB vs SRH clash, where the batter scored 43 off 25 but Ishan Kishan's unbeaten 94-run knock helped the Hyderabad-based franchise register 42-run win. 


Earlier, Kohli announced his Test retirement on May 12  through a heartfelt and emotional message. He made his Test debut in 2011 and represented India in 123 matches, where he scored 9,230 runs, including 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries.
