Argentina finished their Group stage campaign with a stellar 3-1 win over Jordan in their final Group J encounter on Sunday, June 28 at the Dallas Stadium in Arlington. Coming off the bench as a substitute in the 60th minute, Messi needed only 20 minutes to mark his dominance in the final group stage game with his sixth goal in the ongoing World Cup campaign. Messi managed to find the back of the net in the 80th minute and became the first player ever to score in seven consecutive FIFA World Cup matches.
