Manchester City is ready for the post-Pep Guardiola era after the former head coach announced that last year was his final as the boss of the English Premier League club.
Enzo Maresca took over the side after Guardiola’s departure and is making big changes in the club ahead of the club football season.

In one of the changes and alterations, Maresca has confirmed that he wants teenage winger Ryan McAidoo to stay with the first-team squad this season rather than seek a loan move.
Speaking about the 18-year-old, Maresca said:
“The best for him is to stay with us, learn, be around first-team every day, try be clever, intelligent, try learn from Semenyo, Doku, the ones we have in this moment.”
McAidoo, who scored on his senior debut in the FA Cup against Exeter City in January, impressed the new City boss during pre-season. The former Chelsea academy graduate has been praised for his aggressive one-v-one style, with Maresca previously describing him as “the kind of winger I love.”
The decision reflects Maresca’s approach to youth development following his appointment in June as successor to Pep Guardiola. McAidoo is expected to continue training regularly alongside senior forwards including Antoine Semenyo and Jeremy Doku as he looks to build on early promise at the Etihad.
Meanwhile, the Sky Blues are set to face the Premier League defending champions Arsenal today at 7:30 PM in the final of the Community Shield. Marcesa is all set to begin his new chapter with City against the Gunners.
