Lisandro Martínez was sent off as the Red Devils collapsed early in the match, before Casemiro grabbed a late consolation goal that did little to soften the blow after a three-week break without competitive action. The result has intensified pressure on Michael Carrick following the struggles.

Okafor opened the scoring inside the first 5 minutes and added a second shortly after, while Martinez received the unfortunate orders, leaving Carrick’s side to play with 10 men for the majority of the game. Casemiro's header in the closing stages provided a flicker of hope but could not prevent Leeds from securing a memorable victory on the road.

The Old Trafford team is 3rd in the English Premier League right now, following Manchester City and table toppers Arsenal. They are followed by Aston Villa in fourth and Liverpool in fifth position. Man United is set to face Chelsea in Week 33 of the EPL season.
