Sachin delivered a crushing performance to sweep past Botswana’s Treasure Moremi in the men’s 60kg category. In the women’s events, Sakshi (51kg) scored a convincing 5-0 unanimous decision against Northern Ireland’s Caitlin Fryers, while Arundhati (70kg) battled to a 3-1 win over New Zealand’s Morgan Henderson.

With these victories, the trio guaranteed India additional silverware. Sachin’s dominant win capped off a stellar day, bringing the total to seven Indian boxers who have locked up podium finishes at this year's Games alongside Lovlina Borgohain, Priya Ghanghas, Preeti Pawar, and Jadumani Singh.

Arundhati faced a far tougher challenge against a relentless Morgan, who went toe-to-toe with the Rajasthan native across the entire match. Arundhati seized a pivotal early lead in the opening round and steadily preserved her advantage through the second. A penalty dock against Morgan in round two gave the Indian boxer extra breathing room, which was vital when Morgan launched a frantic late charge in the final round. Ultimately, Arundhati’s early composure ensured she held on for the win.

Extending his stellar run, Sachin notched his third straight victory to lock up at least a bronze medal in Glasgow. Facing Moremi, the Indian delivered a balanced showcase of crisp offensive combinations and tight defensive work. By connecting with clean jabs and denying his opponent any operational space, Sachin earned unanimous decisions in the first two rounds. Entering the final frame with victory well in hand, he expertly neutralized Moremi’s attacks to close out a dominant performance.
