Dallas Cowboys icon Dez Bryant shared his reaction to 12-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul's retirement. The veteran point guard announced this decision on Friday, finishing his iconic 21-year-old career in the league.

On social media, Bryant dropped a heartwarming tweet for Chris Paul. He congratulated him on impressive NBA career and the legacy that he established in the league.
"Congratulations on a amazing career bro @CP3," Bryant tweeted.
Last week, Paul was traded to the Toronto Raptors in a three-team trade by the LA Clippers. However, on Thursday, his team let him go. His decision to take retirement came hours after being let go.
Paul started his NBA career after being drafted overall by the New Orleans Pelicans in 2005. He went on to play for several teams during his career, consisting of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Phoenix Suns, the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs.
Last July, Chris Paul said yes to a one-year deal worth $3.6 million for his second stint with the Clippers. He played in 16 games and averaged 2.9 points, 1.8 total rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.7 steals per game.

The veteran point guard announced his decision to take retirement through a post on his official Instagram handle. He expressed his gratitude to his teammates, coaches and fans while bringing an end to his elite NBA career.
"This is! After over 21 years I'm stepping away from basketball," Paul wrote. "As I write this, it's hard t o really know what to feel, but for once- most people would be surprised- I don't have the answer lol! But mostly, I'm filled with so much joy and gratitude! While this chapter of being an 'NBA player' is done, the game of basketball will forever be engrained in the DNA of my life. ...
"I'm so excited to take with me the next chapter all the incredible things basketball has taught me. And more importantly that the people I have been blessed to meet through basketball have taught me. ... The biggest thanks of all goes to the man upstairs. ... If you know this and are reading feel free to finish. ..'God is Good, All the Time and All the Time...'"
In 21 seasons, Chris Paul averaged 16.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 9.2 and 2.0 steals per game.
