The NFL, in partnership with Netflix, is bringing a unique and diverse lineup for their Christmas Day doubleheader, mixing talent from various broadcast networks for an exciting viewing experience. The two games will feature a dynamic mix of announcers and analysts from multiple networks, including CBS Sports, NBC Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, and the NFL Network, offering a blend of perspectives for football fans.

 Announcing Teams for the Christmas Day Games

For the first game of the day, which will feature the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, CBS announcer Ian Eagle will handle play-by-play duties. He will be joined by analysts Nate Burleson and JJ Watt, both of whom are hosts of The NFL Today on CBS. Melanie Collins (CBS) and Stacey Dales (NFL Network) will provide sideline reports during the game.

At 4:30 p.m. ET, the Baltimore Ravens will face off against the Houston Texans. This game will be called by NBC’s Noah Eagle (son of Ian Eagle) alongside Fox analyst Greg Olsen. NFL Network's Jamie Erdahl and Steve Wyche will provide sideline coverage. NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport and CBS’ Gene Steratore will be on hand for both games, offering additional insights and analysis.

 Studio Coverage and Special Guests

In Los Angeles, the studio coverage will be anchored by former NFL Network and current FanDuel host Kay Adams. She will be joined by former New Orleans Saints star Drew Brees, ex-NFL QB and ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III, ESPN's Mina Kimes, and NFL Network's Manti Te’o. 

In Pittsburgh, ESPN's Laura Rutledge will lead coverage alongside analysts Devin and Jason McCourty, both of whom have transitioned to broadcast roles at NBC and CBS, respectively.

Adding a touch of humor to the mix, comedians Bert Kreischer and Nate Bargatze will also participate. Kreischer will serve as the "tailgate correspondent," while Bargatze will appear as a special guest throughout the coverage.

 Halftime Performance by Beyoncé

As previously reported, music superstar Beyoncé will perform during the halftime of the Ravens-Texans game, adding further excitement to the festive football event.

 Partnership Between NFL and Netflix

The NFL and Netflix struck a three-year deal in May for the streaming service to air games on Christmas Day. This year’s doubleheader will be the first of at least three such broadcasts, with one game scheduled for each of the next two years (2025 and 2026). This partnership marks a significant step in the NFL’s expansion into the streaming space.
