Manav Suthar on learnings from Ravindra Jadeja
Meanwhile, Manav Suthar strengthened his solid start in Test cricket with an impressive four-wicket haul on Monday. The young spinner joined hands with Jadeja to run through Sri Lanka's batting lineup, dismissing the hosts for 284 and helping India claim a commanding 178-run first innings advantage in the first Test which is currently being played at the iconic Galle International Stadium.
After the end of play on Day 3, Suthar noted that there are a lot of things which he can learn from Jadeja, saying he would love to know how the Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner consistently bowls at the same length.
“There are a lot of things that I can learn from him (Jadeja). He uses the (bowling) crease so well. His consistency while bowling at stumps is world class. So, I would like to learn from him that no matter what the batsman is doing," said Suthar.
