Amid a season filled with disappointment, a ray of positivity has started to appear, as Golden State Warriors' icon, Steph Curry reportedly took part in the first full practice on Tuesday.
Good news for Golden State Warriors
As per a latest report from The Athletic, Curry is trying to make his return in the game against the Houston Rockets, which will take place on April 5, only if he gets approval from the medical staff of the team.
After Tuesday's practice session, Golden State Warriors' coach, Steve Kerr, dropped an optimistic update on the icon, as he revealed that the shooting guard had a full session of practice but it was very light.
"He went through a full practice, but it was very light," Coach Steve Kerr told reporters after practice. "We didn't do anything live. He's gonna scrimmage right now five-on-five. It's a good step for him," said Kerr.
Stephen Curry's stats
Stephen Curry last suited up for the Warriors in their 131-124 loss against the Detroit Piston in January. Since that game, Curry went on to miss 25 games and could miss the next two games as well.
In the ongoing season, Stephen Curry has managed to average 27.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists. His absence could make a negative impact in Warriors' conclusion of the regular season.
