The Lakers vs Bulls matchup saw an unbelievable conclusion where the pendulum swung both ways in the last minute and in the end, Josh Giddey's insane half-court buzzer-beater broke the hearts of the Lakers. It was the second game in a row for the Lakers, where the result was decided in the final second. The scoreline went in their favour against the Pacers on Wednesday but they were on the losing end on this occasion against the Bulls on Thursday.

LeBron James Opens Up On Loss Against the Bulls
Following the culmination of the game, LeBron James addressed the heartbreaking loss and did not avoid highlighting his part in the result.
“We put ourselves in a position to win…Horrible turnover by myself. Bad miscommunication on the play before that. AR still hit a big bucket to try to save us, and you tip your hat if someone hits a game-winner from half-court.”
The loss would be a hard pill to swallow for the Lakers as they were on their way to win the game but let it slip away.
Before Giddey's buzzer-beating shot—or Austin Reaves' layup, which appeared to be the game-winner—the Bulls went on an unbelievable six-second run to take the lead.
The Bulls began their comeback with a corner three from Patrick Williams, cutting the margin to two with 9.8 seconds left. The Lakers merely had to inbound the ball and take the inevitable foul from Chicago.
Instead, LeBron James made a sloppy inbounds pass that Josh Giddey intercepted, giving up Coby White for an open three. The Bulls scored six points in six seconds, taking a 116-115 lead.

Pressure On the Lakers
The Lakers have lost four of their last give and eight of their past 12 games. The troubled state is threatening to push them below in the standings.
The pressure is piling on and could be appeased only by winning. However, it is not getting any easier for the Lakers as they will be up against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. The Grizzlies are standing on 5th on the Western table and are directly competing with the Lakers.
