During their first four games, star player Karl-Anthony Towns had appeared in all four games, while he reportedly was not 100% fit, resulting in the team ending up 2-2 so far.
The team was also without Miles McBride and Mitchell Robinson however, the two key players are finally back. The Knicks, who began their regular season with two back-to-back victories before losing to the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat, are going to face the unbeaten Chicago Bulls. Karl-Anthony Towns is listed as probable for the Eastern Conference clash on Friday, October 31, 2025, against the Bulls. This should be positive news for the Knicks fans, and the news might give some motivation to the side.

As per the Knicks star, he's playing through a Grade 2 quad strain which has been “hurting” him. The player said:
"I didn't want to disappoint the fans. It's not something that's easy to deal with. We made it happen tonight, I'm glad the fans respected the effort I put in to play tonight."
Karl-Anthony, who played in all four games so far, struggled against the Bucks, recording only eight points and 12 rebounds. The player, who dealt with a tricky lower-body setback, has been averaging 17.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per game while shooting 35.2% from the field and 33.3% from three.
While the Knicks desperately need to win against the opponents who are yet to lose a game this season, they will need a 100% fit player who has been a five-time NBA All-Star.
