Jackson featured in the LA Sparks previous encounter which they lost 88-82 to the Atlanta Dream. That game marked her return on the court after missing multiple games due to a concussion protocol. Having missed games and limited minutes off the bench, Rickea Jackson looked rusty in the clash against the Dream. 

In the 12 minutes that she played, Rickea Jackson went scoreless as she missed all three of her field goal attempts. Jackson had just one rebound and one turnover as she finished the match with a plus-minus of -12. 

The Los Angeles Sparks have not had the start to the season that they were hoping for. Despite adding Kelsey Plum to the roster in the offseason, who has performed strongly to start the season, the team has struggles to convert strong individual performances into wins. Currently, the Los Angeles Sparks are sitting sixth in the Western Conference with a 2-4 record. 

Rickea Jackson's limited time on the court and her availability has been one of the factor in the team's underwhelming start to the season. She has already missed  three of the first six games of the ongoing season. Whenever she has stepped foot on the court this season, she has averaged 7.0 points on 31.0% shooting.
