Will Napheesa Collier play against Phoenix Mercury?

The disturbing news coming from the camp of Lynx is that Napheesa Collier won't be suiting up for the Friday's clash against the Phoenix Mercury. She has been listed on the team's injury report as questionable due to a knee injury.

She registered a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. On top of it, she had five assists, five steals and two blocks alongside her name, having a major impact on both ends of the floor.

It is still unclear that when her injury occurred, whether it was in the clash against the Storm or was it during a practice session. The fans are hoping that her latest injury is minor and she is able to return on the court for the Friday's game, especially the way she has been playing this season.

Just two weeks into the ongoing WNBA season, Collier already sees her as the frontrunner for the MVP award. Her exceptional production through the first five games have been top notch as she has managed to help her team win all the five matches as they sit comfortably at the top spot in the conference standings.

The four-time All-Star currently leads the WNBA in scoring, as she averages 26.8 points per game on 52.7% shooting from the field, including a sharp 43.8% from 3-point range. Not just this, she also has 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game alongside her name.
