The Champions Trophy 2025 final between the Indian and New Zealand cricket teams will be played at the Dubai International Stadium on March 9 (Sunday). After the Black Claps, led by Stephan Fleming, defeated the Men in Blue, led by Sourav Ganguly, at the Gymkhan Ground in Nairobi in 2000, this will be the second time the two teams would play each other in the competition's summit showdown. After sharing the trophy with Sri Lanka in 2002 and winning the title in 2013, India has the opportunity to earn a third title (second outright), while New Zealand is aiming for their second.
After losing to Pakistan in 2017, the team captained by Rohit Sharma is making their third consecutive appearance in the final. After winning the 2024 T20 World Cup, they also hope to win consecutive ICC crowns. After losing to Australia in the 2023 World Test Championship and World Cup finals, this is India's fourth straight ICC final.
