India teaches 'Bazballers' a lesson in Rajkot

At the close of Day 3 of the Rajkot Test, with India holding a commanding lead of over 300 runs in the match, England's opener Ben Duckett expressed confidence in England's aggressive 'Bazball' playing style, suggesting that a higher target would be preferable. Duckett even insinuated that England's bold approach had influenced India's assertive performance in Rajkot.

Unfortunately for Duckett and England, this optimism proved outlandish as they were dismissed for a mere 122 in their ambitious chase of 557, largely due to Yashasvi Jaiswal's outstanding century that left England's bowlers struggling. The win by 434 runs marked India's largest victory margin in Test cricket, propelling the Rohit Sharma-captained team to a 2-1 lead in the series.

Rohit lauded the effort of Jaiswal after the completion of Rajkot Test in his own classic Hitman style.

"I have spoken a lot about him, in Vizag as well, people outside the changeroom have spoken as well. I don't want to talk too much about him, he has started his career on a high, I want him to continue doing well," Rohit said in the post-match presentation.
